Brussels based P.A.R.T.S.―the most successful contemporary dance school in Europe founded and directed by Anna Teresa de Keersmaeker―is in Istanbul with the “news”!
This season, a new generation of dancers and choreographers consisting of 24 students from 12 countries and 5 continents are completing their 4-year training with a series of personal creations, presented to the audience during an international tour.
In Istanbul, P.A.R.T.S. presents four different programs that are as diverse as contemporary dance can be― intimate or exuberant, visceral or cerebral, loud or quiet― often coming up with striking balances and negotiations between different ways of being. They are all the result of a personal research without boundaries, the first public steps of the fresh faces of dance.
Istanbul tour of P.A.R.T.S. is realized by the collaboration of Istanbul Municipality Theatre and Bimeras|iDANS, and with the support of DÉPARTS, a project of European Union’s Culture Program.
Performances are free of charge. Reservations are accepted at Üsküdar Musahipzade Celal Box Office.
